Thanks to Mario, Kat, Zeke and the many players! It has been a great two weeks of core+basics
Bare-foot at Braefoot has been great! Thanks to Braefoot Community Centre for running the two weeks of soccer camps and bringing in the great coaching and training! BCC is a great Saanich based community service provider!

Week two has been fun (so far) we'll have to see what the coaching staff has in store for the players on Wednesday! 2 hours of Comptons followed by 'the belts' then a break and back to the fields for another couple of hours! Action packed!

Sitting in my Hotel room here in Orlando watching the EURO2008 on ESPN2 I saw this great commercial from Nike! Great 2 minute mini-video
Great turn out for the final u13B 'early assessments' at Braefoot Park! Now the technical staff will review the scores and rank the players..don't expect to learn details of the teams till much later as there are still spots available on the u13 teams, instead the technical staff will meet to review and probably conduct another session in August so if you did not register you still can!
March 29th/30th LISA Full field festival!
Saturday March 8th
Seems like it was just a few weeks ago when Coaches Mario and Peter where selecting their 'AllSports Dragons' 2007/8 team..at that time I remember a 'tune up game' between LakeHill and Prospect Lake at Beckwith Park... thats when the lads still played on grass! Since then the Dragons have had a great season of soccer development and played many memorable games (and a few where the Cylinders did not fire up)..but all that comes to an end this weekend when the official Super8 season ends as the Dragons play PLSC! Should be entertaining!
(coaches have one more game lined up..stay tuned)
Space is still available in this always popular weekend of 6v6 soccer. Players register individually at $45/player and will play 4 games. Players are assigned to play on for a 'country' with players that are usually on competing LISA u12 teams! It's a weekend of fun !
