Green light for Turf at Braefoot!

Lakehill Soccer held a Club-wide meeting at Reynolds Secondary School to discuss the recently approved plans to install Artifical Turf at Braefoot Park! We'll be posting a list of volunteer positions we require to identify between now and February in order to plan out the next step. Based upon this we will decide to start this year or next with the implementation plan! Funding is going VERY well, the next step is identifying the correct resources!

DNC selects two from LakeHill u12B Gold team!

Jaxon and Aiden become the first LakeHill players selected to the regional DNC camp since current [and former LakeHill u12B(!) player]: Metro u15G player AbbyR made the national u12 team a few years ago! Well done boys we wish you lots of success at the regional camp in the New Year... just knowing that you where two of 14 from a field of 450 players who attended the DNC should make you and your supporters very proud!

..it has been a busy couple of days.. first the hugely successfull DNC on Friday with at least 4 of our u12B Golds trying-out! On Saturday the LakeHill u12G's, u14G,u15G and u16G Silver teams all played and our site webmaster has some 300 photos he has to go through and find a few to post here! Also, Coach Peter has a 'homework' assignment that he'd like to see posted here and we hope to have things up before Friday so come back often this week!

PS: Congrats for scoring the FIRST goal in the thrilling 3-2 win over PLSC on Saturday! PLSC is a good team just as you are! There are very few 'easy games' at the top of u12B Gold!

Braefoot Park to get Artifical Turf!

A special club AGM of the LakeHill membership is being held at REYNOLDS SECONDARY SCHOOL in the main gym starting at 7pm on Friday November 30th. Our plans to get a Turf field have been approved by the Saanich Council the next step depends on our membership. Your attendance at the Nov.30th meeting will help make this happen!

Concession Duty calls... *UPDATED*

The u12 Girls and Boys Division are operating the LakeHill Soccer concession for the 2007/8 season and plan to operate a nightly coffee service (most of us are at the field anyway!) This is a great opportunity for all the u12 teams to get involved and split the profits based on particpation! Interested in volunteering? If so contact Rebecca for details!
