In their fifth and final match at the BC Summer Games the VI#2 team coached by Mario and featuring: Ian, Justin, Jackson and Matteo played a great game! Matteo narrowly missed the net twice, Jackson had some great midfield action and one sweet shot on net. Justin saved the game with a goal line save near the end of the match, and Ian..well Ian was amazing. Mario proclaimed Ian to be the Tourney MVP and we have to agree with him! Congratulations to Ref Evan Fryer from Lakehill u17B Gold who was one of the best and most consistent refs at the BC Summer Games Soccer tourney!
Three games of high intensity soccer, 96 of the best 12 year old players in the province! Just being here has been a great experience! Well done everyone! Thanks to the Players, Parents and Coaching staff!

Week two has been fun (so far) we'll have to see what the coaching staff has in store for the players on Wednesday! 2 hours of Comptons followed by 'the belts' then a break and back to the fields for another couple of hours! Action packed!

Austria and Switzerland hosted a great Euro2008! The Spanish deserved their first major football title in 44 years and now its Lakehill '96ers time to see what they can accomplish in Kelowna and Italia! Good luck to all the Lakehill Boys who have been selected to the Zone6 teams and to the Italia team! Also: the Gold team announcements are being made, Silver teams to follow .... Stay tuned! PS: Mario is holding two soccer camps in July there is still space available, let him know! These are going to be great camps with 2 hours of endurance training daily along with plenty of field +ball time!!
